Call for Applications: 2 Undergraduate Student Research Assistants

The UD Antiracism Initiative is hiring two undergraduate students to conduct research for the program. Each student will work 14 hours per week for 12 weeks at $15.00 per hour, beginning February 15, 2021.

1. The first research project involves locating and organizing examples of antiracism initiative/centers at universities in the United States and beyond. The student will create a data base of programs.  This selected student will also create an annotated bibliography of current scholarship on the topic of antiracism. Examples of antiracism initiatives may include programs focused on racial justice as well as diversity, equity and inclusion. The student will also help collect and maintain current information on the website.

2. The second research project involves locating and organizing examples of arts-based antiracism projects that are occurring in universities and in community settings throughout the United States and beyond.  The selected student will also create an annotated bibliography of websites and scholarship on the topic of arts-based antiracism. Examples of arts-based anti-racism projects may include dance, theatre, visual art, music, poetry or multidisciplinary approaches. The student will also help collect and maintain current information on the website.
